Overview of Invite & Platform Notification Emails in Peoplebox

This article explains the different types of emails and notifications employees may receive after being added to Peoplebox.

1. Goal Module Email Notifications

If the Goals module is enabled, invited users may receive the following email notifications:

• Goal owner assignment emails when they are added as an owner to a goal

• Goal check-in reminder emails based on the configured reminder frequency

• Goal and OKR cycle close reminder emails starting 15 days before the cycle end date

2. One-on-One Email Notifications

If the One-on-One module is enabled, invited users may receive:

• Talking points reminder emails 1 day before a scheduled 1:1

• Manager morning reminder emails at 7 AM in the manager’s time zone

• Immediate talking points reminder notifications

3. Other Email Notifications

Invited users may also receive: Password reset emails when a password reset is requested

4. Goals Email Notifications

If the Goals module is enabled, all users may receive:

• Daily goals digest emails on weekdays when there is activity to summarize

• Goal @mention notifications

• OKR update notifications

• Reportee OKR update reminders

• OKR import/export confirmation emails

5. Reviews Email Notifications

If the Reviews module is enabled, all users may receive:

• Review cycle phase launch emails

• Review cycle reminder emails based on phase deadlines

• Goal change workflow emails

• Manager pending approval reminders

• Review export and duplication emails

• Review cycle automation emails

• Employee addition automation summary emails

• Hierarchical calibration emails

6. One-on-One Email Notifications

If the One-on-One module is enabled, all users may receive:

• Overdue action item reminders

• 1:1 welcome email

• Feedback, agenda, and action item notifications

• 1:1 export ready emails

7. Survey Email Notifications

If the Surveys module is enabled, all users may receive:

• Survey launches emails

• Survey reminder emails

• Lifecycle survey emails

• Pulse manager comment notifications

• Anonymous message notifications and reminders

8. Biz Review Email Notifications

If the Biz Reviews module is enabled, all users may receive: @mention notifications on Biz Review comments

9. Report Email Notifications

All users may receive: “Your report is ready to download” emails when exports are requested

10. Other Email Notifications

All users may also receive: Permission change emails when access is granted, revoked, or made public
