How to find slack member Id?

  • Slack member id is helpful to find if you are sending slack notifications to the right person.

  • How to find slack member id:

  1. Go to your workspace and search for the person's name.

  2. Click on their profile photo and click "View full profile".

  3. In the right side of their profile section, click on the three dots and click "Copy Member ID".

  4. This will give you something like "U03KZ6Y9NR1" - this is the member id.
